Installation Instructions:

If you have installed the netYAK Voice Client before, then please uninstall it first. Use the "Add/Remove Programs" applet in the Control Panel (special notice for early Windows 95 users).

 

1. Click the "Start" button on the Windows system bar and select "Run...".
2. Click "Browse..." and locate the netYAK self-extracting installation .exe file (help with this).
3. Click "Open" then "Ok."  The netYAK Voice Client will extract and install. Answer the questions during the installation process.  Once the installation is complete the self-extractor window may remain open for 15 seconds while it cleans up temporary files.
4. The netYAK Voice Client is now installed.
5. At this point, it is a good idea to test your microphone and your speakers before you place a call with netYAK. Please see our Support page for tips on testing your microphone and speakers.
6. Once you have verified that your microphone and speakers are working properly, you can click here to place your first call with netYAK! (Please note that you may have to restart your browser in some cases)
